Geneva Martin Bass

Kennesaw, Georgia- Geneva Martin Bass, age, 91 passed away at her home. She was born on December 22, 1933, to John Barthowell Martin and Ona Mae Floyd Martin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Kennesaw.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Wake Forest Cemetery in Dancy, MS with Bro. Reeves Garrett officiating. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bass Family.

Geneva is survived by her son, Ken Bass (Karen) of Kennesaw, Georgia; her sisters, Wilene Hollis of Mantee, MS and Eva Perkins of Mathiston, MS; her 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll F. Bass; her parents John B. and Ona Mae Martin; her siblings, John Berl Martin, Kyle Martin, Lula Mae Converse, and Dot Carlisle Simonds; and a grandchild, Douglas F. Bass.
