Cushman, Gavin - 92, of Houston, a retired auto mechanic for Patch Chevrolet and Patch Tractor, died at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo on Monday, September 17, 2012.Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at Houston Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Glen and Joyce Cushman of Memphis, TN, Billy and Adrienne Scruggs of Shreveport, LA, Gavin, Jr. and Cheryl Cushman of Nesbit; his 8 grandchildren, his 10 great grandchildren; his sisters, Hestelle Sprouse of Baton Rouge, LA and Evelyn Sanders of Monterey, LA.
