Obituary
Willie Francis Nichols Booker, 96, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at her home in West Point, Mississippi. Mrs. Booker was born on August 2, 1921 in Houston, MS to Sidney H. Nichols and Lula Pearl Dodson Nichols. Francis Booker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother and a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Aberdeen, MS., and was a seamstress.
Funeral Service for Francis Booker will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS with Rev. John Ray Hamilton officiating.
Burial will be at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, U.G. Booker of West Point, MS., daughter, Ruth (Bennett) Reedy of Gore Springs, MS., her daughter-in-law, Robbie Bennett of West Point, MS., her grandchildren, Jamie (Teresa) Reedy, Barry (Sherry) Reedy, Matt (Janice) Bennett, Robbie Lynn (Stanley) Tutor, and Angie (Danny) Hester, 18 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great children.
Francis Booker is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Melvin Bennett, her sons, Floyd Bennett, and Charles Bennett, five sisters, and four brothers.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Spruill, Austin Fretwell, Earl Gilreath, Kevin Smith, Eric Fretwell, and Walter Turman.
