McKinney, Frances - Independence- Glenda Frances Fran Moore McKinney, 74, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. Mrs. McKinney was born on September 14, 1942 in Mississippi to Vardaman Henderson Moore and Sarah Dorothy Moore. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was full of life and loved by all she knew.
Funeral Service will be at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Moore officiating.
Burial will be at Ellzey Cemetery in Vardaman, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Donnie, Dale, Joel, Ronald, Tracy, and Lee, one sister, Evelyn, three brothers, David, Bobby, and Marvin, seven grandchildren, Zackary, Kotabeth, Emily, Joshua, Addisyn, Aaron and Linda and three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Hanna, and Adrian.
Frances McKinney is preceded in death by her first husband, Don Hamblen and her late husband, Danny McKinney.
Visitation will be Monday, August 21, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home.
