Austin, Frances - Vardaman - Frances Marlene Walls Austin, 71 , died Monday, October 27, 2014, at her home in Vardaman.
She was born August 17, 1943, in Pontotoc County, MS to Haskell Marlon Walls and Myrtis Frances Holloway Walls. She was a homemaker.
The funeral service will be Friday, October 31, 2104, at 2:00 pm at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Gladwin Carpenter, Rev. Johnny Cherry, and Rev. Bobby Ivey officiating. Private burial will be at a later time. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda and Tim Hicks of Houston;
her grandchildren, Amber Hicks West of Houston, Kenny & Crystal Hicks of Booneville; her great-grandsons, Trace West , Austin Hicks, Easton Hicks, and Griffin West due in December; her brothers, Ray Walls of Alligator, and Terry Walls of Bruce; and her constant companions, Baby Girl and Josh.
He was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Jimmy Walls and Larry Walls, and her husband, Gene Austin.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 5-7 pm at Houston Funeral Home
Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church.
