Hill, Florence - Houlka Florence Harmon Hill, 105, passed away January 29, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was born January 27, 1912 in Houlka, Mississippi to Nickademous D. Harmon and Alma Lee Perry Harmon. Mrs. Hill was a store bookkeeper at many different stores in her lifetime. She was also a member of Midway Baptist Church in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Prater Officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, MS.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Carl Hill, her sister, Blanche Clarkston, her grandchildren, Willie Lee (Elma) Hill, Jr., LeeAnne (Gilbert) Alvarez, Susan Hill (Raymond) Burnette, Nancy Lee (Raymundo) Morquecho, and LeeRoy (Tricia) Hill, and her great-grandchildren, Crystal Lynn Hill, Ashley Alvarez (Travis) Walsh, Jonathan (Stephanie) Hill, Austin Alvarez, William Hill, Aaron Morquecho, Jordan Hill, Zachary Morquecho, and Jonah Hill.
Florence Hill is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George W. Hill, her son, Willie Lee Hill, Sr., her daughter- in- law, Mary Anne Hill, her sisters, Estelle Berry, and Beatrice Bell, her brothers, Melvin Harmon, and Q.T. Harmon and her grandson, George Lee Hill.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. 7:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home.
