Evelyn Colleen Brown, 90, passed away at NMMC Tupelo on March 14, 2024. She was born December 16, 1933 to Bruce Wayne Brown and Corrine Anderson Brown. She attended Houlka First Baptist Church. She was known for her sweet smile and spirit, and keen ability as family historian to know everyone's birthdays, anniversaries, and passings.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 18, 2024 at Houston Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with Bro. Patrick Collins officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00to time of service. Burial will be at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jared Houck, Richard Brown, Cade Brown, Denim Black, Hank Buchanan and Jesse Kelly.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Buchanan; her brother, Billy (Diane) Brown; her nieces, Cyndi, Melissa, Michelle, Meribeth, and Roxanne; her nephews, Don and Richard ; and a host of great and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Corrine Brown, and one brother Jimmy Russell Brown.
