Tunnell, Essie Opal - Mrs. Essie Opal Carter Tunnell, 94, died at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo on March 11th, 2016 . She was the widow of Mr. Clyde Tunnell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday March 13, 2016, at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Samuels officiating and burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters Mrs. Rose (Kenneth) Barnett of Wisner, Louisana and Gail Brooks of Houlka, and sons Steve, Lamar (Brenda), and Leonard (Brenda) of Houston, and Joe (Bonnie) of Bruce. Twenty grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Felecia Tunnell and a son-in-law Ricky Brooks.
Visitation will be Saturday March 12th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
