Eagan, MN-  Formerly of Houston, MS- Emily Cheryl Holleman Crandall, 70, passed away May 18, 2018, at her home in Eagan, Minnesota surrounded by her family. Mrs. Crandall was born on November 13, 1947 in Houston, MS to Jack Thompson Holleman and Shirley Powell Holleman. Emily had a strong Christian faith and was a gifted teacher for 50 yrs. Her passions were her family – especially her grandchildren, gardening, travel & fashion.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Crandall will be 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Houston First Baptist Church in Houston with Rev. Terry Rhodes officiating.

Burial will be at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery in Houston, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ken Crandall of Eagan, MN., her step-mother, Frances Holleman of Tupelo, MS, her sons, Jeffery Crandall and Benjamin (Allison) Crandall of Eagan, MN, her brother, Jack P. (Kristie) Holleman of Tupelo, MS and her grandchildren, Chase Crandall and Mia Crandall.

Emily Crandall is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Houston First Baptist Church in Houston, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Todd Whitfield, Frankie Powell, Don McCullough, Hugh Yarbrough, Ron Patch, and Larry Williams.
