Walters, Elizabeth - Houston Elizabeth Tiny Linley Walters, 78, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Darlington Oaks Hospice in Verona.
She was born January 5, 1936, in Houston to George Russell Linley and Ottie Vell Thomas Linley. She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Houston Schools.
Funeral services are Friday, August 29, at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Houston. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann (Mike) Doss of Pontotoc, Kathy Parker (Chris Brents) of Houston; her sons, Wayne (Ruthie) Walters of Houston, John (Melisa) Walters of Helfin, AL; her grandchildren, Jonathan Doss, Chris (April) Parker, Amber Parker, Hannah Walters, David Walters, Preston Walters, Eric Walters; great-grandchildren, Conner Doss, Jaylin Parker, Braxton Parker; her sister, Margaret Thompson of Houston, and her brother, Johnny (Diane) Linley of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. D. Walters, her granddaughter, Wendy Doss, her sisters, Rosalee Moore and Lynette Mastarrigo, her brothers, Clyde Linley, Bill Linley, and James Linley.
Pallbearers are Jonathan Doss, David Walters, Preston Walters, Chris Parker, Larry Linley.
Visitation is Thursday, August 28, from 5-7 PM at Houston Funeral Home.
