Huffman, Elizabeth - Houston Elizabeth Box Huffman, 83, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born February 27, 1932 in Thorn to Henry Newells Box and Bessie Bell Davis Box. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Kimmel Memorial and Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Houston.
Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include daughter, Mildred (Bobby) Robinson of Houston; son, Vick (Glenda) Huffman of Houston; sisters, Dorothy Ward of Houston, Mildred Beckham of Slate Springs and Becky Finn of Houston; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Victor Huffman; daughter, Evelyn Huffman; brothers, H.B. Box, Henry N. Box, Lee Vaughn Box, and Jerry D. Box; sister, Virginia Buckingham.
Pallbearers are Joe Myers, T.J. Hardin, Chris Finn, Adam Harmon, Mitchell Speed, and Alex Harmon.
Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2016 from 10:00 to11:00 AM service time at Houston Funeral Home.
