Obituary

Dovie Mae Guzardo Munlin, 90, passed away May 1, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, Mississippi. Mrs. Munlin was born on February 2, 1928 to Anthony Guzardo and Louise Champagne Guzardo.

Dovie was known to all her family as "Granny Dovie". She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. When you visited, you never left empty handed. She provided for her family by gardening, sewing, canning and praying for everyone. With her loving touch the simplest ingredients could be turned into a feast. Her children learned respect and compassion for others by her example. The wild birds were well feed and her plants were watered and fertilized regularly. The best part of her day was when a family member would visit. She worked as a salesperson for Guzardo's Feed Store, Michael's and Graves Department Store. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Houston, MS.
