Houston Dorothy Nell Walls Knox, 88, passed away December 16, 2016, at her son s home in Columbus, Mississippi. She was born June 10, 1928 in Houston, Mississippi to Perry Nathan Walls and Laura Turman Walls. She was a retired supervisor at Walmart and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be Monday, December 19, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church
with Bro. Greg Clemts and Bro. Wade Mathis officiating.
Survivors include her two sons; Perry Lolette Knox of Houston, Dr. Edward Cecelia Knox of Columbus, one sister; Joy Lang, of Odessa, TX, and two brothers; Calvin Ray Polly Walls of Eden, OK, and Ruben Diana Walls of Ardmore, OK. Dorothy is also survived by four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Dorothy Knox is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Winston Knox, and her parents, Perry and Laura Walls, and one son, Freddie Knox.
Visitation will Monday, December 19, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
