It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the passing of Donald Reginald "Reggie" Callahan. He was born March 26, 1957 to Clyde Anderson and Lou Ella Callahan and returned to his heavenly home on April 9, 2024.

You were a hero and a mentor, most importantly, you were a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. You may have departed from this world, but your legacy will live on through each of us. Your life is a perfect example of what it means to love one another and have a fun time doing it. While your shoes will be very hard to fill, we will find the strength to carry on. As we say our goodbyes, your memories will live on through us; from the golf courses to the motorcycle rides, ballgames and runaway trains. We will forever remember you.

A Funeral service will be held, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at New Wine Fellowship Church with Bro. Tommy Kelly officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Arbor Grove. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Callahan family.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha Callahan; one daughter, April McClendon; two sons, Mark (Kimberly) Callahan and Matt (Lisa) Callahan; his grandchildren, Sara (Dillon Lyons) and Josie McClendon, Brynna (Houston) Medders, Cade Callahan, Britney (Brock) Vigna, Blake (Rilee Morgan) Uhiren, Kelli (Josh) Webb, Brandi (Devin Mills) Young, and John Coleman; his great-grandchildren, Ruby and Jovi Webb, Jaxx Mills, Kash Uhiren, Bryson Vigna, and 3 babies due this year; two sister, Jane (Steve) Pearson and Ella (Sonny) Spencer; three brothers, Dale (Patsy) Callahan, David (Vicky) Callahan, and Ricky Callahan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lou Ella Callahan, his sister, Lynn Harmon, and his granddaughter Heather Holt; two great-grands, Baby Butterbean and Zaidyn.
