Carrollton, AL- Mr. David Edward Tunnell, 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Pickens County Medical Center in Carrollton, Alabama. David Tunnell was born in Houston, Mississippi on August 20, 1951 to Curtis Edward Tunnell and Mary Rachel Smith Tunnell. He worked for Ford Motor Company and was a retired truck driver, and also served in the United States Army.

Funeral Services will be held at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Scott Samuells officiating.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home in Houston.

Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston.

David Tunnell is survived by his wife, Sarah Tunnell of Carrollton, AL; his daughters, Alexandria (Danny) Tunnell of Carrollton, AL, Rebecca (Jimmie) Samuel of Coker, AL, and Tiffany (James) Moreland of Carrollton, AL; his son, David Franklin (Tiffany) Tunnell of Carrollton, AL; his sisters, Malynda (Patrick) Gamble of Ohio, and Sharon (Curtis) Richardson of Ohio; one brother, Curtis Aaron Tunnell of Pleasureville, KY; five grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

David Tunnell was preceded in death by his parents, and one great-grandson, Dakota.
