Darris Paul Coleman, 62, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at his home in Thorn, Mississippi. Mr. Coleman was born on October 28, 1956 in Greenville, MS to Billy Joe Coleman and Gladys Rachel McGee. Darris was retired press operator for Day Bright Manufacturing. He was a member of Thorn Church of God.

Funeral Service for Darris Coleman will be 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Thorn Church of God in Thorn, MS with Brother Tommy Harvard officiating.

Burial will be at Ellzey Cemetery in Calhoun County, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his parents, Billy Joe Coleman of Hamilton, MS and Gladys Rachel McGee Williams of Houlka, his wife, Sandra "Rochelle" Netterville Coleman of Houston, his daughter, Tabitha Coleman of Houston, his sons, Billy (Nina) Coleman of Houston, and Joseph (JT) Coleman of Houston, one sister, Lawanda (Doug) Davis of Stockbridge, GA., three brothers, David (Barbara) Coleman of Houston, Darron Coleman of Houston, and Mark (Theresa) Coleman of Houlka, MS., his grandchildren, Christina (Eric) Vinson, Breanna (Josh) Verell, Hunter Coleman, Tylor Coleman, Jessica (Kaleb) Clark, Tiffany (Kyle) Griffin, Ashton Coleman, and his great-grandchildren, Kaleb Clark Jr., Serenity Langston, and Vanessa Verell, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Darris Coleman is preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Coleman, granddaughter, Virginia Coleman, brother, Farron Coleman, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Lee McGee and Mr. And Mrs. Clem and Mae Coleman.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Thorn Church of God in Thorn, MS.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Griffin, Kaleb Clark, Benny Coleman, Mike Hester, Doug Davis, David Coleman Jr., Josh Verell and Brady Moss.
