Brown, Dale - Pontotoc Dale Gipson Brown, 86, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc. He was born October 13, 1928 in Thelma, MS to Robert Gipson Brown and Cordie Annie Belle White Brown. He was a manager for RCA Service Company in New Orleans for thirty-six years. He was an Air Force Veteran stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS where he was a radar technology trainer. He also served in the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Rex Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka.

Survivors include his daughter, Janet Maria Brown of Baton Rouge, LA; Son, Dale Thomas Tom Brown of Rayne, LA; Sisters, Roberta Berry of Houston, Betty (George) Higginbotham of Pontotoc; Brother, Bobby (Toni) Brown of Houlka; Grandchildren, Lindsey Michelle Brown of Rayne, LA, Casey Nicole (John Thomas) Curtis of Opelousas, LA and Kelsey Marie Brown of Egan, LA; Great-grandchildren, Tiffany Nicole Trahan, Kaydon Mikel Trahan, Addisyn Klaire Trahan, Dane Thomas Curtis and Jack Preston Curtis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sylvia; and two sisters, Amorette Linton and Mary Warrington.
Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00AM service time.
