Curtis "Fireball" Tennyson, age 87, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home in Houston, MS. He was born Curtis Powell Tennyson on September 14, 1937 to Clynn Tennyson and Eunice Kelso Tennyson. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church was a salesman and saw smith for Pacific Saw and Knife. Curtis played basketball for Houston High School.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral home with Bro. Johnny Cherry officiating. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tennyson Family.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Tennyson of Florida and Tony Tennyson of Houston, MS; his daughter, Susan Davis of Florida; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clynn and Eunice Tennyson and his son, Edward Tennyson.
