Mrs. Christine "Muh" Franks Cruse, 102, passed away Monday, April 23, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy in Okolona, Mississippi. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy in Okolona, MS with Rev. Jim Jackson and Rev. Edwin Pharr officiating. Burial will be at Boone Chapel in Okolona, Mississippi. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 24, 1917 in Chickasaw County to Charles Hubert Franks and Mary Lou Jolly Franks.

Mrs. Cruse was a homemaker.  She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, flowers, her family, church family and above all, Jesus.

Mrs. Cruse is survived by her sons; Mack (Molly) Cruse of Okolona, and Jackie (Gail) Cruse of Okolona; her sister, Nixie Washington of Okolona, and her brother, Ora Franks of Okolona; her grandchildren, Norman (Jamie) Cruse, Crystal (Frank) Dallas, Tina (J.R.)Kilgore, Judy (Danny) Dempsey, Donna (Walter) Henry, Susan (Ken) Henry, and Vickie (Adam) Johnson; her 16 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; her daughters-in-law, Faye Cruse, Barbara Cruse Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Odis Cruse; her parents, Charles Hubert Franks and Mary Lou Franks, her sons; Herbert Cruse and Terry Cruse; her grandson, Terry Odis Cruse; her brothers, Adam Franks, Charles Franks; her sisters, Lucille Houk, Lurene Mayo, and Ruth Manasco.

Pallbearers will be Norman Cruse, Conner Dallas, Cade Dallas, J.R. Kilgore, Danny Dempsey and Daniel Dempsey.
