Charlotte Ann Dobbs, 83, passed away on October 3, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center- West Point. Charlotte was born September 17, 1940 to William Preston "Ollie" and Loma Blansett Walters. She was a member of Houston First Pentecostal Church.
A funeral service will be Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Wilson and Bro. Paul Brassfield officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM the day of the service. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be DJ Dobbs, David Dobbs, Douglas Dobbs, Jr., Lyle Stewart, John Gravat Jr., and Heath Pearson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyres, Spencer, Brian, Stephen and Tyler.
Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dobbs family.
Ms. Charlotte is survived by her spouse of 65 years, Joe Dobbs; her children, Lisa Gravat of Woodland, Ms and Donald Joe (Deonda) Dobbs of Woodland, Ms; one sister, Gladys Rhodes of Houston, Ms; her grandchildren Chasity (Heath) Pearson, Amanda (Spencer) Dobbs, Andrea (Tyler) Wright, Haley (Tyres Naugle) Gravat, Douglas Dobbs, Jr., DJ (Megan) Dobbs, Crystal (Stephen) Winter, Brittany (Lyle) Stewart, Monica (Brian Coleman) Dobbs and David Dobbs; twenty four great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Loma Walters; her son Doug Dobbs; her brother, JD Walters; her grandson, Cody Gravat; her great-grandson, Cullen Dobbs and her daughter in law, Alana Dobbs.
Ms. Charlotte loved her family and she will be deeply missed by them all.
