Harrell, Charles Howard - Mr. Charles Howard Harrell, 73, died Monday, August 22, 2011, at Pioneer Medical Center in Aberdeen.
He was born December 25, 1937, in Houston to Floyd Deward Harrell and Pearlie Clytee Duncan Harrell. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a retired Fireman for the City of Houston and a Policeman for the City of Houston and for the City of Houlka, and was a Constable for Chickasaw County. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24, at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating. A private burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristy & Sam Skelton of Houston; his son, Kelly & Debbie Harrell of Houston; his grandaughter, Prycilla Clark Skelton of Houston; his sisters, Ann Watkins of Houston, and Mary Lois & Johnny Neal of New Albany; his brothers, Eddie & Wanda Harrell of Houston, David & Sandra Harrell of Houston; the mother of his children, Glenda & Glen Savell of Houston; a special friend of his as well as dear to the family, Gladys Rhodes.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, at Houston Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
