Charles Ruble Duncan, age 98, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, in Grenada, MS. Ruble was born Charles Ruble Duncan on October 24, 1926, to Ruben G. and Vannie Griffin Duncan in Houston, MS. He was a manager at Houston Ceramics Tile and a faithful member of Mantee Baptist Church.

A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mantee Baptist Church with Bro. Zack Sanford and Bro. Reeves Garrett officiating. Visitation will be an hour before time-of-service Tuesday. There will be no graveside service. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the Duncan family.

Ruble is survived by his daughter, Donna (Mickey) Boyette of Grenada, MS; his grandchildren, Wes (Bridget) Baird, Holly (Pablo) Boyette Martinez, Katie (Jeran) Boyette Guilambo; his great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Baird, Allie Baird, Charlie Martinez, Ada Martinez, Ollie Guilambo, Gia Guilambo and Jonah Guilambo; and his special friend, Dovie Ezell.

Ruble was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Johnson Duncan, his parents, Ruben and Vannie Duncan and his sibling, Arnold Duncan.
