Boyette, Charles Eugene - Mr.Charles Eugene "Bud" Boyette, 83, of Steens, a retiree from the United States Air Force, died at his home in Steens, MS on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.Visitation was Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home in Columbus. Graveside services, with full military honors, are scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at Houston Cemetery with Rev. Ben Butler officiating. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Caledonia United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1, Caledonia, MS 39740. Mr. Boyette is survived by his wife, Ethel Edwards Boyette of Steens; his sons, Charles Eugene Boyette, Jr. and his wife, Lucy of Grenada, and Joseph Stephen Boyette of Raleigh, North Carolina; his daughter, Michele Boyette Kroll and her husband, Major Kenneth Kroll of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Delane Boyette, Stephanie Booher and her husband, Dan, Tracie Parker and her husband, John, and Marcus Doss and his wife, Tina; and eleven great grandchildren.
