Cecil Lewis

Okolona- Cecil Ellis Lewis, 85, passed away on November 12, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Mr. Lewis was born on April 12, 1936, in Egypt Community, MS to Matthew Richard Lewis and Minnie Zula Shields Lewis.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Boone`s Chapel United Methodist Church in Okolona from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Boone`s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Melvin Aycock officiating.

Burial will be at Boone`s Chapel Cemetery in Okolona, MS.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his sister, Mabeline Easley of Houston; his nieces, Sarah and Margaret; a nephew, Ricky Smith and their families; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Smith, his brother, Charlie Doss Lewis; his brother-in-law, George Easley; and his nephew, Larry Easley.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be members of Boone`s Chapel United Methodist Church.
