Smith, Catherine - Houston- Catherine Kate Jobba Smith, 101, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Floy Dyer Nursing Home in Houston, MS. Mrs. Smith was born on August 31, 1915 in Bloomington, Illinois to Frank Jobba and Catherine Myers Jobba. Catherine was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was full of life and loved by all she knew.
Graveside Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 28, 2017 at McCondy Baptist Church Cemetery with Re. Steve Lampkin officiating.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Christy) Smith of McCondy, MS., Kenneth (Elaine) Smith of McCondy, MS., and Joel (Betty) Smith of McCondy, MS., twelve grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Catherine Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith Jr., her son, Robert L. Buddy Smith III, And brother Frank Jobba.
