Mrs. Brenda Gail "Sissy" Brodie Blissard, 58, passed away May 26, 2019 at her son` s home in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Visitation will be Monday, May 27, 2019 from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M., at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi. A Memorial Service will be at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, MS with Rev. Greg Ducker officiating. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 28, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee to Horace Brodie Jr. and Peggy Lee Johnson Brodie. She was a Kitchen Assistant for Houston Public Schools.

Mrs. Blissard is survived by her sons, Curtis (Melissa) Blissard of Verona, Kenneth (Nicole) Blissard to Houston, Hester (Victoria) Blissard of Pontotoc, Charles Blissard of Fulton, her sister, Charlotte Britt of Tennessee, her brother, Charles Terry of Houston, and her grandchildren, Shana, Alyssa, and Kaiden Blissard.

She is preceded in death by her son, Chester Dean Blissard, her mother, Peggy Lee Johnson Brodie Snyder, and the father of her children, Curtis Theo Blissard.
