Houlka Bobbye Sue Murphree Harmon, 77, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at her home in Houlka.
She was born November 9, 1936, to Sim Roane Murphree and Vangie Shields Murphree in Bruce. She was a homemaker and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be Friday, August 22, at 1:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. David Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Wilburn E. Harmon of Houlka; her daughter, Susan Harmon Roye and Billy Fuller of Houlka; her sons, Mike Harmon (Sherry) of Houlka, Terry Harmon of Houlka; her grandchildren, Karen Cobb (Chad), Andrea Adams (Brian), Maleah Eaton, Taylor Eaton, Stephanie Harmon, Abegel Harmon, April Roye, Michael Wayne Roye, Brandy Fuller; her great-grandchildren, Logan Winstead, Drew Winstead, Jack Cobb, Bennon Adams, Adalyn Adams, Dakota Roye, J.T. Allred; her sister, Winona Randolph of OK; her brothers, John Whitt Murphree (Frances) of Columbus, Thomas Earl Murphree (Lanita) of Bruce, Ed Murphree of AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Tony Harmon, her sisters, Mary Lena Bryan and Mavis Murphree .
Pallbearers are Billy Fuller, Chad Cobb, Brian Adams, Johnny Huffman, D. L. Winter, Michael Wayne Roye, and Logan Winstead.
Visitation is Thursday, August 21, from 5 until 7 PM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston.
