Billy Ray "Booboo" Martin,65, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. He was born December 7, 1953 in Houston, Mississippi to Thomas Eugene Martin and Jettie Inez Martin. He was a retired welder for B& W. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan.

He is survived by his mother, Jettie Inez Miller Martin, of Okolona, MS., his wife, Doretta Anderson Martin of Reform, AL., his daughters, Brandy Martin Byars of Pontotoc, MS., Kelly (Bobby) McRaney of Boonville, MS., two step- daughters, Amanda (Matt) Hill of Tuscumbia, AL., Ericka (Steven) Nickoles of Tuscaloosa, AL., one son, Eric Martin of Pontotoc, MS., and Lance (Dixie) Mordecai of Tuscaloosa, AL., one half-sister, Ann Coggins of West Point, MS., and one brother, John T. (Kay) Martin of Houston, MS., three grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Judge. Thomas E. "Fesser" Martin.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

A private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
