King, Billy - Houston Billy Herman King, Sr., 79, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014, at NMMC in Tupelo.
He was born November 17, 1935, to Charles Herman King and Vannie Lee Ashcraft King. He was retired from Houston Ceramic Tile and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Bro. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Houston. Houston Funeral Home in Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his sons, Billy (Sharon) King, Jr. of Houlka, Terry
(Kathy) King of Pontotoc, Mike (Carolyn) King of Houston; his sister, Grace Sisk of Nettleton; his brothers, Gene (Sue) King of Houston; his grandchildren, Will Porter, B.J. King, Terry King, Jr., Jim King, Tim King.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cricket King, his daughter, Brenda Porter, his granddaughter, Ashley Porter, his brother, Isaac, Joe, and Jack King; his sisters, Jurell Gambrell, and Arlett Price.
Pallbearers are Tim King, Jim King, Jeff Brady, Carl King, Billy B.J. King, III, Terry T.J. King, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Will Porter, Henry Porter, Bently Porter.
Visitation is Sunday, December 28, 2014, from 12:00 Noon until the 2:00 PM funeral service time at Houston Funeral Home.
