Billy Ray Cole passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Diversicare in Batesville, Ms.  Mr. Billy was born September 11, 1937 to Walter Gray and Annie Loise Cole. He began a career with law enforcement right out of high school as an FBI agent where he worked several years then as a highway patrolman for the state of MS and the last several years he worked as deputy sheriff for Quitman County before retiring.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating.

Mr. Cole is survived by his sister-in-law, Liz Cole; Niece, Deborah (Sam) Watts and Great Nephew, Barry Watts all of Brandon, MS.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Walter and Annie Cole, two brothers, Rodney and Max Cole, and one sister Rosamond Cole.
