Obituary

Billie Hendrix, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Church Street Manor in Ecru, MS. She was born Billie Jean Riley on August 7, 1936 to Frank Clopton Riley and Natalie Ross Riley. She was a graduate of Okolona High School. She worked as a seamstress for several different industries. She was a member of Houlka First Baptist Church. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Bro. David Blackwell officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of service and burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Houston Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Pallbearers will be Greg Davidson, John Collums, Josh Huffman, Camp Pittman, Dustin Eaton, Colton Huffman and Grady Collums,

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Mike) Mays of Houston, MS; her son, Ronald Hendrix of Houlka, MS; her sister, Frankie Rinehart of Jackson, MS; her grandchildren, Greg Davidson, Michelle Huffman, Lindsey Collums, and Rebecca Mays; and her great-grandchildren, Colton Huffman, Blakley Huffman, Paisley Collums, Grady Collums, and Kelli Collums.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hendrix, her daughter, Beverly Davidson, her parents, Frank and Natalie Riley and two sisters, Janet Langley and Bobbye Lloyd.
