Davis, Betty - Tupelo Betty Sue Martin Davis, 68, died Friday, October 25, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.
She was born June 26, 1944, in Houston to Johnny Ardell Martin and Mamie Lee Wheeler Martin.
She was an office manager for Roy Foster Furniture Company.
Services are Monday, October 28, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home in Houston with Rev. Frankie Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon O Dell Davis of Tupelo; her daughter, Janet Sue Davis of Cleveland, OH; her sister, Carolyn Pappas of Okolona; her brother, Johnny and Bobbie Martin of Houston; her nephews, Billy Martin, Mike Jones, David Martin; her nieces, Shirley Martin, Candy Davis, Kathy Paden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Edward, Harold, Jessie, and Charlie Martin; and her son, Johnny O Dell Davis.
Pallbearers are Billy Martin, Carl Ward, Edward Martin, Cody Turman, Mike Jones, and Rufus Martin.
Visitation is Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Houston Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
