Ben Cliett

Montpelier- Ben E. Cliett, 73, passed away on November 11, 2021, at his home in Montpelier, Mississippi. Mr. Cliett was born on November 28, 1947, in Houston, MS to Aubrey E. Cliett and Nancy Shirley Harrington Cliett. Mr. Cliett was a retired truck driver for Ware Milling, a member of Montpelier Baptist Church and was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Houston Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Moss and Rev. Lee Dillard officiating.

Burial will be at Amity Cemetery in Woodland, MS.

Mr. Cliett is survived by his wife, Donna Porter Cliett of Montpelier, MS; his daughter, Allena (Travis) Sanders of Thorn, MS; his sons, James (Diane Wooten) Cliett of Montpelier, MS and Robert (Hannah) Cliett of Montpelier, MS; his grandchildren, Brayden, Levi and Jase Cliett of Montpelier, MS and Emma and Kristen Sanders of Thorn, MS.

Mr. Cliett is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Mike and John Cliett.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Johnson, Brandon Inmon, Billy Jeff Abbott, Eddie Abbott, Zach Smith, and Nathan Sizemore.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Montpelier Volunteer Fire Department.
