Houlka- Beannice Olivia Box Hardin, 92, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Fernbrooke Person Care Home in Houston, MS. Mrs. Hardin was bank teller for BancorpSouth for over thirty years and the oldest member of Houlka First Baptist Church for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was full of life and loved by all she knew.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Houlka First Baptist Church with Rev. David Blackwell officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, Mississippi.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, US Army Retired Col. Jim R (Linda) Hardin of Clifton, VA., her daughter, Cathy (Johnny) Moss of Houlka, MS., her grandchildren, James R. Hardin Jr., Leslie Molina, Steven Hardin, Kimberly Hardin, and Jonathan Moss, and seven great-grandchildren.
Beannice Hardin is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James H. Hardin, her son, Frank Hardin, her brothers, Garner, James, Howard and Raymond Box and one sister, Etoyle Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Houlka First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Houlka First Baptist Church in Houlka, MS.
