Barbara "June" Mitchell Banks, 77, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Banks was born on February 18, 1941 in Verdan, Oklahoma to Arthus D. Mitchell and Helen Beatrice Mitchell. She was a homemaker who loved the Lord and her family.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Banks will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Houston Funeral Home with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating.

Burial will be at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston, Mississippi.

Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughters, Reubena June "Sissy" Alford of Houston, MS., Darla Spradlin of Norman, OK., Denise (Melvin) Heilaman of OK., Jessie (Jeff) Dean of Delaware, OH., and Larri Dawn Chetri of OK., two sons, Reuben "Dean" (Betty) Spradlin of Grove City, OH., and Larry David (Allie) Banks Jr. of OK., 14 grandchildren and a whole host of great-grandchildren.

Barbara Banks is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Jessie Rowena Partin and her ex-husband, Reuben Spradlin.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Houston Funeral Home in Houston, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Reuben Dean Spradlin, Caleb Naron, and Sid Alford.
