Nichols, Annie - Houston- Annie Lois Anna Lois Austin Nichols, 75, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was born November 4, 1941 in Waterloo, AL to William Burlon Austin and Mabel Christine Cherry Austin. Mrs. Nichols worked at Shannon Chair Company for many years and was a member of Arbor Grove Baptist Church in Houston, MS. Anna Lois loved her family, her dogs and watching cooking shows, and looking at recipes. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Rinehart officiating.
Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodland, MS.
Houston Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Thomas A. Tommy Nichols, of Houston, one daughter, Nancy Gray (Eddie) Alford of Vardaman, MS, one son, William (Jennifer) Gray of Houston, MS, one niece, Linda (Tim) Hicks of Houston, MS, two sister-in-law s, Kathryn Knox of Houston, MS and Millie Wood of GA., seven grandchildren, Barrett (Dana) Gray of Tupelo, MS, Chelsea Gray (Alex) Harmon of Houston, MS, Josh Alford of Jonesboro, AK, Jody (Kelli)Alford of Vardaman, MS, Jerritt Alford of Vardaman, MS, Alyssa Alford and Dustin Pettit of Vardaman, MS, and Matthew Gray of Mantee, MS, and three great grandchildren, Jolyn Alford, Bailee Alford, and Addie Harmon and many nieces and nephews.
Anna Lois is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Roy Earl Gray, one brother, Gene Austin, and one sister-in-law, Frances Austin.
Pallbearers will be Tim Callahan, Tim Hicks, Jody Alford, Jerritt Alford, Dustin Pettit, and Barrett Gray.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Houston Funeral Home.
