Kendall, Ann
- Houston Ann Plumisto Kendall, 88, died Sunday, September 21, 2014, at NMMC in Tupelo.
She was born February 7, 1926 in Raton, NM to Mike George Plumisto and Mamie Ridenour Plumisto.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Houston. Because of her disability Ann was baptized in her wheelchair in a swimming pool in Houston.
The funeral service will be Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Houston Funeral Home with Dr. Daniel Heeringa officiating. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston. Houston Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Russell C. (Julia) Kendall of Mansfield, TX; her sisters, Helen Bolenbaker of Irving, TX, Jane (Tom) Smallwood of Elizabethtown, KY, Anita Serra of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Christa Ann Kendall, Paul Kendall, Clara Kendall, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee Kendall on September 6, 2001, and her brothers, George Plumisto, Mitch Plumisto, her sisters, Mary Tennison, Kay Pennington, Sophie Plumisto, Janet Plumisto.
Pallbearers are Dennis Baldwin, Bobby Sanderson, John Freeman, and George Tennison.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 24, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Houston Funeral Home.
