Amanda Harmon

Houston- Mrs. Amanda Doss Harmon, 37, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at her home in Houston, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., at Parkway Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 P.M on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Parkway Baptist Church in Houston with Dr. Randy Rinehart officiating. A private burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Houston, Mississippi. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Harmon was born March 26, 1981 in Amory, Mississippi to Scott Harrington Doss and Sandra Kay Bailey Doss. She was a school counselor for Houston Public Schools and a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Houston.

Mrs. Harmon is survived by her father, Scott (Cheryl) Doss of Houston; her husband, Joe Harmon of Houston; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerald (Pam) Harmon of Houston; her sister, Kristy (Brandon) Hardin of Houston; her nieces and nephews, Norah Bailey, Grady Scott, Aubrey Kay, and Zeke, she is also survived by her grandparents, Joe Lee (Jeanette) Doss of Houston.

Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her mother, Sandy Doss, and her grandparents, Damon Bailey Sr., and Jimmie Ruth Rollins Bailey.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Harrington, Trey Bailey, Stephen Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Richard Davis, and Robert Winters.

Honorary pallbearer will be Rev. Terry Rhodes.
